HISTORY
AlindaVelco was established in 1989. Since then, the company has been investing in the development of know-how in fine ingredients, achieving significant specialization in production of high quality industrial raw materials.
From its very first steps in 1989, AlindaVelco has been active in the production of mixtures for the needs of various industries, dairy, baking and textile, offering products such as milk proteins, other milk based powder products, baking ingredients, improvers and enzymes for the bakery industry, as well as textile enzymes.
In 2000, AlindaVelco got located in its present factory establishments, in the industrial area of Oinofita Viotias, an area around 60 km north of Athens. The new millennium has signified a new investment period for AlindaVelco, when focus was placed in the company's high requirements in Research and Development. Three new pilot plants were gradually obtained for this purpose: the Dairy Pilot in 2001, the Bakery Pilot in 2002 and the Textile Pilot in 2003. These new pilot plants have facilitated the testing of AlindaVelco ingredients under real conditions. In 2003, AlindaVelco acquired its warehouse in Aspropirgos. Two years later, the company's headquarters were transferred in its privately owned offices in Spata.
As indicated by this short flashback on the most significant steps in its history, AlindaVelco has achieved a remarkable development since 1989. Starting with 8 employees back in 1989, today, it occupies more than 100 people.
